Learn, deepen, and apply principles of yogic philosophy to your unique needs as they arise. Access the divine consciousness within you, by any name true to you. Process through organizing principles such as the chakras, karmic blocks, and welcoming a letting go of habitual patterns. This intentional practice is founded on cultural humility and reversing misappropriation and historical weaponization of yoga by the western world.
Learn techniques for letting go of old patterns of misuse, restoring efficiency of movement with deep presence and resilience in the breath and on voice. Learn anatomy and physiology to encourage freedom in the spine. Release patterns of overexertion in basic tasks like walking, sitting, speaking; and reroute at their roots, including often, the internal relationship to Self. Discover your true connection to the earth and how much less effort is needed for free, authentic movement.
Learn principles of Letting Go to Gravity to find the Resting Breath; releasing old patterns of holding and overuse in the body; building neuroplasticity and rebooting the nervous system for rest / relax / restore / and remember your truest wisdom within.
Learn the technique of Destructuring codified by Catherine Fitzmaurice founder of Fitzmaurice Voicework(c). Discover deep release of strain, tension, and trauma long-held in the body on energetic and cellular levels. Restore a freedom of breath neurologically proven to build neuroplasticity and reboot the nervous system for rest / relax / restore.
Expect a deeply relaxing though exhilarating experience with your breath. The work is done while fully clothed on an ergonomically designed memory foam table with blankets, employing deep holds, gentle pressure, breath coaching, and guided visualizations. Sound, scent, touch, and breath offer new realms of release and re-patterning.
Learn self - assisted fascial release for relief from stress, anxiety, chronic pain. A slow -holds, deep stretch practice with bolsters and blankets; highly ritualized practice with loads of space for meditative guidance.
A snuggly relaxing practice with guidance on alignment and use of blanket folds, bolsters, straps, and blankets for deep comfort and letting go. Deep meditative soundscapes, scented oils of your choosing, and gentle guided visualizations usher in a total relaxation state and nervous system reboot.
A powerful flow moving through all planes of movement and clearing chakras of stored or blocked energy. Deep twists and complex combinations restore full range of motion in the muscles and joints, while consciously inviting the Breath throughout the body to release the prana.
Work individually with Heather to explore issues of strain, release holding patterns, and restore a resilient breath-body into Voice. The practice will be catered to the individual needs and may include fascia release, breath anatomy, vocal vibration, pranayama, and/or tremoring Destructuring technique of Fitzmaurice Voicework. Can be guided, with or without touch, as the individual chooses.
Individual session or small groups employing healing touch, deep pressure, directional energy, and physiotherapy tools along with hand-scraping for reshaping the fascia around released alignment. Release scarring, cellular memory, and discover new freedom in the mind/body connection, "this moment in time."
